All GetYourRefund and VITA partner volunteers are required to complete the IRS Volunteer Standards of Conduct exam. GetYourRefund uses industry best practices to ensure that client data is kept safe and follows IRS guidelines up to the SOC 2 security standard. All tax information and messages through GetYourRefund are implemented with end-to-end-encryption.
